Ranger Company Fall FTX Packing List

Rucksack

Large ALICE Pack w/ Frame w/ published packing list: carrying equipment

1 complete sets of ACUs in Rucksack: Uniformity, Backup clothing

Poncho: Waterproofing, litters

GORE TEX Parka: Warmth, Waterproofing

Polypro Top: Warmth

Knee Pads

Wet weather Bottoms: Waterproofing

2 pairs of wool socks: Foot care, extra clothing

4 pairs of underwear: Hygiene, extra clothing

Knit cap and gloves: Warmth

Everything under bring only if you have, if you don’t have don’t worry about it.

Red / blue or green Chem.-light: Night visibility and safety

10ft 550 cord (Top flap ruck): Tie downs and misc repairs

Large Trash Bag (Place Wet Weather Bag inside of Trash Bag): Waterproofing

1 Gal Ziploc Bag x 2: Waterproofing

Face camo: Camo, concealment

Baby wipes: personal hygiene

Worn

Pencil/Paper Pad: Writing

LCE: carrying equipment

1 complete set of ACUs: Uniformity, camo

Large Flex-cuffs x 2: Detain EPWs ( Also not a big deal if you don’t have)

Home Opener Lab 3SEP2010

Who: Rocket BN and the Public
What: Conduct Home Opener Lab with an open house, cookout and activities. Then attend the UT Home Opener football game as a BN.
Where: HEC and throughout campus
When: 3SEP10 1500-UTC
Why: To have FUN and increase the visibility of Army ROTC on campus.
Uniform: ACU with patrol cap
Note: If you are ushering at the game, you must bring an extra set of clothing to change into. The ushering uniform is khakis, closed-toe shoes, and ROTC t-shirt.

Tornado Relief Project

Promotions Board

Here is the promotions board questionnaire that all MSI’s will need tomorrow. Please study this and learn it. It should not be new to many of you.

Also please be advised that all contracted MSI’s must attend the promotions board. If for any reason you cannot make it (sickness, death in the family, class schedule) please contact the c/CSM Minnich 419.787.1762 and leave a message.

Please also be advised to omit the word “yeah” from your vocabulary once you enter into the promotions board room.

Tuesday (26 JAN 2010) 1000 – 1330

Friday (29 JAN 2010) 0915 – 1030 | 1215 – 1500

Guidelines:

- You must be a second semester MSI (which means you were in the program last semester) or a returning MSII.

- You must present yourself in ACUs.

- The promotions board is based on your GPA, PT scores, and leadership qualities you have displayed over the course of last semester.

- Please be advised that the promotions board meets at these selected times, but you may schedule another time if none of these fit your academic schedule. Please see c/CSM Minnich to schedule an appointment.
