Rucksack

Large ALICE Pack w/ Frame w/ published packing list: carrying equipment

1 complete sets of ACUs in Rucksack: Uniformity, Backup clothing

Poncho: Waterproofing, litters

GORE TEX Parka: Warmth, Waterproofing

Polypro Top: Warmth

Knee Pads

Wet weather Bottoms: Waterproofing

2 pairs of wool socks: Foot care, extra clothing

4 pairs of underwear: Hygiene, extra clothing

Knit cap and gloves: Warmth

Everything under bring only if you have, if you don’t have don’t worry about it.

Red / blue or green Chem.-light: Night visibility and safety

10ft 550 cord (Top flap ruck): Tie downs and misc repairs

Large Trash Bag (Place Wet Weather Bag inside of Trash Bag): Waterproofing

1 Gal Ziploc Bag x 2: Waterproofing

Face camo: Camo, concealment

Baby wipes: personal hygiene

Home Opener Lab 3SEP2010

Who: Rocket BN and the Public
What: Conduct Home Opener Lab with an open house, cookout and activities. Then attend the UT Home Opener football game as a BN.
Where: HEC and throughout campus
When: 3SEP10 1500-UTC
Why: To have FUN and increase the visibility of Army ROTC on campus.
Uniform: ACU with patrol cap
Note: If you are ushering at the game, you must bring an extra set of clothing to change into. The ushering uniform is khakis, closed-toe shoes, and ROTC t-shirt.

Nominate Your Rocket Battalion Member to the Hall of Fame

Steps are being taken to formalize the Rocket Battalion ROTC Alumni Association. Our first meeting will be Homecoming Weekend October 2nd. The location and time will be announced later this summer. A Hall of Fame wall will be managed by the Alumni Association. Please nominate your candidate by clicking here.

Summer PT Schedule

PT is every morning starting at 0730 till 0830.

Monday: will be at Wild Wood
Tuesday: HEC Gym
Wednesday: Wild Wood
Thursday: HEC Gym
Friday: Wild Wood (it will be a ruck march – uniform: ACUs, PC, Ruck Sack)

All contracted Cadets stating in the Greater Toledo area must attend at least three sessions a week, and all LDAC attendees must also be there for at least three. If you are out of the Toledo Area you must be calling in once a month to check in and have a PT schedule of your own.

Also all LDAC attendees must complete a APFT and a 12-mile ruck before leaving for Fort Lewis.
